PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Penta Career Center unveiled its own new fix-tilt, ground-mount solar array on September 18, 2020. The $2 million structure, completed in August 2020 and operational as of Aug. 7, produces 1.76 million kilowatt-hours of power. First Solar provided 3,168 Series 6 panels manufactured at its Lake Township facility, which were then installed by Enerlogics and GEM Energy. AEP OnSite Partners owns the array and sells power to the school through a 25-year agreement.
Cleveland Heights, OH – City officials plan to go greener in the coming months with a proposed solar power purchase agreement to install rooftop panels on three city buildings. City Council is expected to authorize the 30-year contract with Enerlogics Solar LLC of Youngstown at its April 20 meeting.
