Performance Food Group – Stockton CA

As part of its commitment to innovative sustainability and positively impacting the environment, Performance Food Group (PFG) is deploying solar, energy storage, electric vehicles and trailers, and related EV charging infrastructure across a series of the PFG operating locations. This Stockton project is the third planned rollout across PFG’s California properties as part of a broader renewable strategy that aligns with plans for the fleet and maximizes value through a phased, portfolio-based approach.

The Stockton site utilizes solar and onsite energy storage systems to reduce operating costs through locally generated onsite energy, paired with energy storage to reduce demand costs and enhance cost savings. Additionally, the solar + storage project will mitigate the operating costs impact of the significant electric vehicle (EV) and electrict trailer refrigeration unit (e-TRUs). PFG has elected to finance the system through a power purchase agreement (PPA) maximizing the operational value and sustainability benefits for the property with no up front costs.
